Assignment

1. Critique the rough proposals (Due Friday December 9th at 10am): Magnetic Multilayer Nanostructures (IGERT MNM Website) and Metamaterials (Check Email)

2. ALL  IGERT Trainee documents (Agreement, etc.) are required to Dr. Black ASAP. Check File Manager/ management/ forms

3. Group members for each module please add short headings to the Resources under each Module. Resources

4. Each student please evaluate other IGERT student's cover letter, resume, and research summary. Please use the rubrics that will be available under documents.

5. Over the winter break please read the review papers for the next module (Reference 1 (check email), Reference 2, and Reference 3): "Tunnel junctions with multiferroic barriers"; "Giant tunnelling magnetoresistance at room temperature with MgO (100) tunnel barriers"; "Magnetic tunnel junctions"

Assignment #3: Writing Module

1. Write your research summary (Due Monday, November 7th upload to IGERT MNM)

- Have your research summary reviewed by at least one peer for content and grammar.

- Have your reviewer make comments and sign at the bottom of your research statement.

-Post your research summary on the wiki.
